Do you think this is a measure by Playfirst to prevent the game being cracked? (I haven't seen a crack for it yet I'm assuming this new format is the reason why). How come you have to connect to Playfirst to play this game? It doesn't feel like a standalone game any longer. My biggest gripe, however, is how "connected" the new Diner Dash is. multiplayer is nice, though I find it to be sort of awkward, the level where you have to compete against a trainee waiter/waitress is interesting, but also kind of annoying.
I was dazzled by the new features for a short while, HOWEVER. How do you all like Hometown Hero? I was psyched when I first started playing, but unfortunately the trial was too short (though quite generous in that it gives unlimited play in endless shift mode). I tried just clicking the mop and then 2 tables with spills, but after she mopped up the first spill the mop vanished before she got to the 2nd table. Mop -> table -> table instead of mop -> table -> mop -> table (I don't remember the number.) Is there a way to chain mopping tables without having to go back to the mop every time? I'm playing Diner Dash 2, the Pizza Shop level with all the bookworms & families. Anyone else having the same problem? If you've beat it, what did you do!? I've seriously played that level about 20 times and still haven't gotten past it. Now, I am a self-proclaimed DD pro, but I have come across a road block on Sizzle n Serve for DS.
